Kerr Lake Results
The second event of the 2019/2020 season for the Eastern Series headed to Kerr Lake, located on the NC/VA border. The teams were faced with temperatures in the mid-forties that were compounded by 15 to 20 mph winds all throughout the day. Even with the difficult conditions at hand, the teams didn’t give up and all managed to bring fish to the scales.
The tandem of Ayden Wood and Nathan Canaday bested the field with an impressive five fish catch of 18.69lbs, anchored by a 5.84lb brute. Each angler received matching plaques to signify their accomplishment and were further rewarded with Lews bait-casting combos, provided in part by Outdoor Accessories Unlimited.
Nicholas Ratliff and Thomas Houser had to settle for the second position with their four fish catch of 7.77lbs. The duo received matching plaques to signify their runner-up finish.
Logan Fulcher and Carson Aarup filled the thrid position with their catch of 3.52lbs, while Ethan Johnson settled into the fourth spot with his catch of 3.24lbs. Rounding out the top five was the team of Ethan Gilbert and Cody Anderson with their catch of 2.81lbs.
Kudos to each and every team for your dedication and efforts during this event. The weather certainly made the day difficult, but nonetheless you all pushed through and showed your determination.
