Gilbert & Anderson Win On Lake Gaston
September 29, 2018 – Littleton, NC
The first NC Bassmaster Junior & High School Series (East Division) event took place over the weekend on Lake Gaston. Teams launched and returned from the Summit Wildlife access. The lake proved to be a bit stingy for the teams during the event, however all teams participating managed to bring fish to the scales.
Ethan Gilbert and Cody Anderson took the top spot in this event with a five fish limit that weighed in at 8.38lbs. The anglers were awarded matching first place plaques for their efforts. The duo also netted the lunker for the event with a nice bass that weighed 3.40lbs, giving the pair of anglers a couple of bonus products provided by Z-Man Fishing.
Alden Patterson and Judson Huey filled the second spot with their catch of 8.33lbs. The tandem were rewarded with matching second place plaques to signify their accomplishment.
Gavin Ange and Nick Walker settled for the third position with their catch of 7.62lbs. Rounding out the top five positions included a fourth place finish for solo angler Evan Cain with his catch of 7.28lbs and a fifth place finish for the tandem of Nathan Canaday and Ayden Wood with their catch of 6.82lbs.
Products from Z-Man Fishing were provided to all anglers during the weigh-in.
